PSALM 119:7
From 1660-1672 the great Preacher John Bunyan stayed in the Bedford County Jail- I say "stayed" because he could have been released by simply agreeing to stop preaching. But, this broken vessel of GOd discovered the meaning of Psalm 119:71: "it is good for me that I was afflicted that I may learn your statutes."
Out of that came "PILGRIM'S PROGRESS". Is it "progress" for you today ? Could you honestly say that word describes your walk with the LORD? Can you say without reservation : "I am making "progress", I am NOT a stumbling block or an hindrance to the work of GOD?"
The greatest JOY is to be SAVED . Luke 10:20 : ".......rejoice that your name is recorded in Heaven." Jesus says: "I am come that you might have LIFE and have it more ABUNDANTLY."John 10:10.
The great Reformist Martin Luther (not King), studied scripture in the Augustinian monastery until he was a walking Bible. He could receive the Truth of Justification by Faith according to Romans 1:17 yes, just as if you had never sinned, feel FREE because the PRICE for your sins has already been PAID-IN_FULL, all you have to do is BELIEVE/CONFESS/ACCEPT or SURRENDER it's that simple!
